John Wesley preached outside this pub near Wood Green in 1783, so it’s certainly got a lot of history. There are two rooms, a bar with a dining area off it, and a small lounge; the layout is derived from the pub once being three cottages. The walls have pictures of military aircraft. Now (June 2023) doing a limited food offering Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes but kitchen needs updating.
