This Victorian pub, built by Winchester College, stands by Minstead's village green, close to the delightful All Saints Church, burial place of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The eponymous servant is the composite beast depicted on the inn sign, which is a copy of a painting in the College. The bar and dining area are wood-floored, decorated in modern style, and warmed by four wood-burning fires. Food is available all day at weekends. To the rear are a patio and a large garden. Furzey Gardens is a mile away.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
