200-year-old ex village school in lovely Norfolk flint, now the village local with its own history. Look for the clue to the pub's name inside the bar area. Parish meetings are held in the pub. The "Warden's" serves a consistently excellent Adnams Bitter. Food is all home made traditional, usually a pie or two, steaks in the evenings, with dining area separate from the bar but by local custom no food on Sunday evenings. Nearby are the ruins of St Mary's Church built on the remains of a Roman temple.
