A traditional pub nestled in heart of St James at the foot of Gold Hill, the setting for the iconic Hovis advert. The area was once bustling with businesses like tanneries and laundries taking advantage of abundant water from the old pump house. The original landlords, two brothers, chose to brew their own beer at the pub and then travel around at festival time selling on their ales. Beer garden has good views. Closed Monday except bank holidays.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
