Two terraced houses knocked together form the front half, the back half being an extension added in 2008 when this pub became much more food-oriented. Although this pub is quite a long way from town, there is a long tradition of crawlers making their way out here (formerly a remote Hartleys outpost) - though the pubs on the way also benefit from this traffic. Also on the tourist trail - the Maritime Museum is close by. Shortcut to the station from back of pub.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
Wagon & Horses, Lancaster
Changing beers typically include: Robinsons (seasonal)
The Champion Beer of Britain is one of the most prestigious beer competitions in the world. It is the ultimate honour for UK brewers and has helped put many into the national spotlight.
Judging for the competition takes around a year, starting with individual nominations from CAMRA members and tasting panel nominations, leading to a series of rigorous regional heats adhering to a strict blind tasting policy.
