This distinctive red brick building dates from 1898 (though a pub has existed on this site since the 17th century) and provides a cosy community local, located close to the village duck pond and the large green. The main bar has two areas separated by a fireplace.
Food is served in the bar or the downstairs restaurant. The restaurant leads on to a pretty garden.
The management were presented with an Adnams' cellar award in November 2014.
