This Pub is Closed Long Term
The name of this large, open plan former Wetherspoon's relates to a reference made by William Gladstone, the 19th-century prime minister and MP for Liverpool, who spent part of his childhood on Merseyside. He recollected: 'I have seen wild roses growing on the very ground which is now the centre of Bootle'.
The pub, located at the base of the Triad tower block, is a popular with locals, shoppers and workers alike.
