The Woodlark situated on Bridge Street, Derby is an obvious pub building having casks hanging on the outside wall. It is frequented by locals and students from their near-by student accommodation. It is often very busy on football days. The pub consists of a large single room split by half-partitioning walls. The traditional wooden bar is to the right on entry. There is a curious ramp as you enter.
The Ram pub stood next door on the corner by was demolished around 2015. The LNER Friargate line once passed behind the pub on an elevated arched brick bridge.
Cash is the preferred method of payment.
