Description

Established in 1992 by Paul Theakston, a member of Masham's famous brewing family, the brewery operation was sold to Breal Group in 2023. It is situated in the former Wellgarth Maltings and uses the traditional Yorkshire Square fermenting system. The company supplies the free trade across Yorkshire and the North, with national supply through pubcos and wholesale channels. It acquired York Brewery and its pub estate in 2018.
