Attractive Edwardian red brick pub dating from 1902. Fully refurbished in March 2020 this is a local which is involved in numerous activities and home to many and varied teams. Food on Sunday's only at the moment. Three real ales available, one a changing guest.

The pub is named after a racehorse that raced as a hurdler in the 1920s.
