Long low stone building on B6265, originally a sixteenth century coaching inn. Large open-plan bar, broken up by pillars, with traditional decor and stone-flagged floors.
Real fires give a cosy feel in winter. Open "Noon 'til late," depending on how busy it is. Four changing ales, always from breweries in and around The Dales.
A la carte menu on offer in the restaurant. Additionally, pizza can be ordered to eat-in or take away noon-9pm Mon-Sun. Skipton to Grassington bus stops outside the door. The pub supports darts, dominoes, football and rounders teams in local leagues.
