Corner pub originally built by Halls in 1839 then bought by Banks's in 1995 and refurbished with an interesting layout, including a balcony level over the main bar with a ceiling mural copying 'The Creation of Adam' from the Sistine Chapel. Both figures hold pints of beer and there is the Banks’s motto “unspoilt by progress”. Pies are the pub’s culinary speciality. There is a pleasant front terrace garden and a larger garden at the back.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
