No real ale. A corner street locals pub built in 1838 on the main road into Northampton. The bar area runs the length of the pub and contains a raised area for seating. A games area for Northants skittles, pool & darts is to the rear. Beyond this is an outside area used for smoking & drinking. TV sports coverage. A location that harks back to the 'pubs of old' where drinking, talking & pub games create the ambience of a community pub.
