Traditional town-centre street corner local where you always find a beer from an unknown brewery served on one of the 14 handpumps. The original pub plan covers four former rooms, with the front bar serving two opened-out rooms where the walls are covered in breweriana. The rear bar contains the TV and Northants skittles table, Skittle teams play on Thursday and darts on Tuesday. A patio creating a suntrap is to the rear. Four real ciders are always available.
