Small pioneering beer bar which opened way back in 1997 and has always had a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. A slick design is contrasted nicely with both metal and neon signs of various Belgian breweries. The cask ales on the bar are joined by a range of keg offerings with a wide variety of styles and ABVs, many from North Brewery. The new toastie menu is also a tasty addition. Packed fridges provide an interesting selection of UK and international beers, many of which are available to take away. On special occasions they may grant access to the cellar, with some truly special beer available for purchase. The outdoor drinking area consists of patio seating on the pedestrianised steet to the front of the building. Card payment only.
