A traditional pub in a good location close to the centre of town. With pleasant ambiance a log fire on cold days, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The welcoming bar area is a good place to sample six real ales, many from local breweries, also local craft ales. There is a large outdoor seating area and a permanent marquee. There is an oudoor barn where The Pizza Boys have their pop up restaurant on Wednesday and Friday from 5pm until 9pm.
