Improve This Listing

The Bird in Hand is a cosy and friendly boozer with an L-shaped interior. It is a large one room pub with plenty of seating. French windows lead out to an enclosed beer garden, which is pleasant in the summer.

Acquired in January 2019 by Thame based Oak Taverns, who also run the Rising Sun in Haddenham and Cross Keys in Thame. Destined to be a mecca for real ale fans as the pub will be focused on local beers with a traditional pub atmosphere. Serving four real ales, over 30 gins, craft beer and much more.

Branch pub of the year 2023 and regional runner-up 2023.
