Opened under new ownership in September 2020, this small, modern, stylish and comfortable bar has a particular focus on local and continental beers. The bar gets its name from the legend of a ferocious boar that lived in the woods where Bradford now stands. It comprises a ground floor room with additional seating available in a basement area. Three hand-pulls serve a varying range of usually regionally-sourced real ales. Seven keg taps offer an additional selection of beers often including a dark beer and a sour. Another two keg taps offer a continental lager and wheat beer. An extensive selection of bottled and canned beers is sourced from the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and the US. Guinness draught is also available. Additional seating is available outside the front of the bar in good weather. Food can be ordered from the Peacock Bar located opposite.
