Built in 1760, this former Coaching Inn has a rich history, mainly associated with the Cragg Vale Coiners who reputedly held regular meetings here. This grade II listed building, originally built as a farmhouse and adjoining barn is open as a drinking venue seven days a week. The pub entrance is from the main Burnley Road, which leads to the bar area to the left which has a natural tiled floor. There are regular bus services from outside of the pub.
