The beamed 17th century pub in this rural village has a roomy bar and a large extension at the rear, replacing an old conservatory, which has become the main dining area. Other separate drinking areas surround a log fire.
There are Four hand-pulls, dispensing at least three cask ales from local breweries. Bar snacks, lunchtime and evening menus are available. It offers quiet seating areas, generous helpings and friendly service. A welcoming family-run pub popular with walkers and cyclists.
The hourly Bridgnorth - Kidderminster - Stourbridge bus (125) stops outside the pub.
