The Pub changed ownership in August 2024 following the retirement of its proprietors. The new licensees are intending to continue in a similar model, although with some improvements to the decor and seating.

After five years in the original premises on Brook Street (in which time it was voted the local CAMRA Branch's Pub of The Season in Spring 2018 and Highly Commended in Pub of The Year in 2020) the Pub relocated to a more spacious setting in a former café on nearby Water Street in June 2022. The central room of the three is the bar, recreating the look of the original as far as possible, but with an additional three handpumps and a wall of fifteen taps in the modern style, ten of which are dedicated to craft beers. Rooms off to the left and right now incorporate new seating and tables, with the toilet located in the left-hand room.
