This friendy two roomed old coaching inn has up to nine real ales and at least one real cider. The bar is welcoming but can get busy on match days. The lounge is quiet, relaxed and cosy with old football programs on display. Social events include two summer beer festivals, occasional live music, speciality tasting events and brewery nights, Friday is quiz night. Outside is a large premier beer garden, including sheltered seating, lights and heaters. The pub is welcoming to children and well-behaved dogs. A small function room is available.
