An upmarket pub located in the large historic former BMI building that used to house the vast Sampson Gangee Library for the History of Medicine. It has been sympathetically converted to a multi-room pub with an emphasis on good food. The main bar has high tables and chairs with easy chair seating around an open fireplace. The subsequent rooms are laid out for food with dining tables and chairs. A range of ales are available along with wines, gins and spirits. The extensive food menu changes daily.
