Multi award-winning pub owned by Ossett, with the on-site Rat microbrewery. The large open plan main area still retains the feel of separate rooms. Nine handpumps offer beers from a range of breweries including the firm's own, with two permanent dark ales available. A generous range of ciders and perries are stocked. The pub has a dartboard, and it hosts live music on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. There is a quiz on Wednesday. Huddersfield CAMRA Pub of the Year 2022.
