A previous winner of the CAMRA/English Heritage Pub Design Awards, this Joule's brewery tap was a former coaching inn built in 1623. Its unique features include an illuminated well in the main bar, the mouse-room, a Robert Thompson inspired function room with carved mice. Log fires and oak beams create a comfortable atmosphere where locally sourced food can be consumed from the extensive menu along with the Joules range of beers produced in the adjacent brewery.
