Arguably the oldest pub in the town and with its larger than life Landlord, Harvey, this is a friendly no frills old town boozer, what you see is what you get. It’s a little gem if you like that kind of pub with regular darts, dominoes and a bit of backgammon that serves a fair pint.
Serving the 3 of the 5 ales produced from one of Shropshire’s youngest brewery, Plan B or New Brew as it is more commonly known that is based in Newport (Shropshire). Although they are young, they are certainly worth a try.
In the summer it has a beautiful and colourful outside seating area.
