It was threatened with change to residential use but, thanks to a successful local campaign, was saved and has been totally refurbished with a rustic theme. There is an upstairs room, conservatory area, large veranda and a stove in the bar. The pub serves real home-cooked food complimented by two changing real ales. Seven en-suite wooden cabins with valley views provide accommodation.
