A flagship Palmer's pub set along the Piddle valley road. The pub is thatched and a winner of the 2022 West Dorset CAMRA Garden of the year, with the river Piddle running alongside. Internally the pub is very spacious and set out for dinning but drinkers are made very welcome. Palmer's Tally Ho! is a regular on the bar. The pub has a roaring log burner for the winter months, flag stone flooring in the bar area with low beams and a well set in the floor outside the toilets which rises with the water table. Very much a dog friendly, child friendly local village pub that host regular themed food nights.
