This micropub on the High street is a relatively recent addition to the Ashby scene. Originally, it was a medieval farmhouse; one of the oldest buildings in town. Now a Tollgate brewery pub, it offers a warm and friendly welcome, and serves up to six real ales (four handpump, two gravity) and up to four real ciders. Three third pint tasting trays available for those wishing to try the whole range of available beers. A large selection of bottle conditioned Tollgate beers is available to take away.
Pork pies are available as snacks. Occasional street food evenings.
