This Pub is Closed Long Term

Was once a tied Greene King pub, now a genuine Free house that is a regular stop for many walkers on the trails around the area. The pub usually has a selection of up to five real ales sourced mainly locally. Hadham and the New River are both local breweries, and their beer dominates the selection.

NOTE: The pub is on a well used walking trail and the pub may choose to open on some Mondays (it is usually open Bank Holiday Mondays) and its hours change seasonally. The White Horse is usually closed on Mondays during the colder months as there is less walking past trade. Please call ahead on Monday and Tuesdays if you plan to visit the pub to confirm if its in its Summer or Winter hours mode. The pub can also be booked on closed days for Walking Parties and Groups. Please call the pub for more details and to arrange a booking.
