Reopened in March 2014 after major refurbishment, this former Ansells local now has full restaurant facilities. A raised entrance with a shady patio leads into the small front bar area divided into two parts. There is a dartboard and weekend karaoke here. At the back is the large restaurant with an open kitchen: this is located in the former skittle alley, but the room has been much altered and has impressive exposed roof timbers. The 126-127 Leicester-Loughborough bus stops at the end of Town Green Street.
