Situated next to the historical listed market hall, the Market Tavern has recently reopened after an extensive refurbishment by Black Country Ales. Specialising not only in real ales from their own microbrewery in Lower Gornal, the pub offers a selection of six ales and two guest ciders. The bar is smartly decorated and split into three smaller areas on different levels. Interesting prints of the old town. Dartboard in the lower area. Bar Snacks are available including:- Fresh Cobs, Scotch Eggs, Pork Pies and Homemade Cakes, cheeseboard to share are available daily.
