Located high on the hills to the East of Winchester, Milbury dates from the 17th century and has stunning northbound views from its garden. The South Downs Way runs past the pub, so it is very convenient for all users. The pub has recently undergone a major refurbished and is well known for its large (human-sized) treadmill that was used to pull water up from its 100m deep well. The Wheel Room features a gallery seating area, and there is a a large extension room which will be used as a restaurant area once the kitchen reopens (hopefully by Easter).
Pub opening times are subject to change until the kitchen opens, so it is recommended to ring up before visiting.
