Large, half-timbered pub, purported to be 2nd oldest building (from 1639) and the oldest pub in Biggleswade. It is a Listed building with Oak-beamed interior with large open fireplace. The layout of the bar is an inverted L shape with many secluded seating areas with comfy chairs. Saturday nights are acoustic music or a DJ and dancing. Several ales from Greene King and their guest list. Mulled cider available in wintertime.
